When The Breather does appear, there are two ways you can keep him out. The sounds that definitely indicate The Breather are a distant bang, or a faint squeak/click - similar to the sound of him trying to get in while you're holding the door. Then you'll need to start listening out for some faint sound cues. The only time you need to start worrying about him appearing is when the phone calls stop (since he'll never be at your door during or immediately after a call). He tends to call you several times in a row and then suddenly stops. In my experience, if you don't lose days from getting hacked, The Breather begins to call between day 1 and day 5. Now, moving onto the kidnapper's bae friend, The Breather. When you turn the lights off, move your mouse to the phone before the kidnapper walks past, and if The Breather does call, answer while the phone is vibrating but not ringing, and hang up immediately, before The Breather has time to get through the first breath/word. When this happens, the kidnapper will get you when he hears the phone ringing. Also, in a small variation, The Breather can call while the kidnapper is walking past your window. It's like they both sat in your back yard, smoking a joint, and the kidnapper just says "You take the door, I take the window?" Anyway, in this case, all you can do is choose who you want to get jump scared by. The Breather and the kidnapper can show up together. Lastly, there is an unfortunate scenario that can happen. This line translates to "there's nothing here", so you'll be safe to turn the lights back on after this. Eventually the footsteps will stop, but you'll need to keep waiting until you hear the kidnapper speak again. When the kidnapper does walk past your window, you'll need to keep quiet (if you haven't turned the microphone setting off - it's on by default), keep still (i.e don't press the A,S or D keys, or move your mouse), and wait. In the first few days before you see the van, you'll also hear him say "hmmm.", but I've repeatedly managed to get away with keeping the lights on when this happens, so I think the two thuds along with it are the key. One is the infamous arrow next to the wifi symbol in the top right hand corner of the computer screen, and the other is him saying "hmmm.", accompanied by two dull thuds, like he just stepped on some leaves. When the kidnapper is around, there are two things that guarantee him walking past your window. Serial killers kill kidnappers take you places.) There are instances of him appearing when the van isn't there. ( NOTE: Contrary to popular belief, the van has nothing to do with The Breather. In my experience, the only time you should pay more attention to the noises are when you see the kidnapper's white van outside when you go to check the door, which usually happens around day 5, if you don't lose days from getting hacked. I think the dev is trying to pull a Scott Cawthon or Toby Fox on us and is trolling (jk, Adam, ily), since he told CoryxKenshin if you hear anything, you should turn the lights off. We'll get to his friend, The Breather soon.įrom day one, you'll hear various weird noises in your house and outside your window. There's actually nothing new about the Kidnapper in this update, but he can be a pretty confusing guy. The first row has 3 bars and the second & third row both have five bars, however, the very last bar on the third row never plays anything (in my experience, anyway), so there are only a total of 12 bars to worry about. Then I realised that in each bar, only one specific note would play, so you don't really have to remember which note plays, but which bar played its note. I tried remembering the letters underneath the notes, the shapes of the symbols and the shape the whole sequence created, but none of that really worked for me. So I tried to figure out some techniques. Believe me, I tried to cheat too, but even that didn't really work for me. The most popular way to cheat is to record the sequence. In fact, Claffis is so frustrating, that many people resort to cheating, and even recommend cheating. DISCLAIMER: I only vaguely know how to read music, and the last time I did that was when I was like 8, so please excuse me if me if some of my terms are wrong.Ĭlaffis is another new website, similar to Chosen Awake, in that you need it to give you a link to the Deep Wiki 3, and it can be just as frustrating and tedious.
